I'd have to say the operating system is my favorite program, without it there would be no other programs (except the bios of course).
Well, that's true. haha.
Mine are Windows Messenger, ZoneAlarm, and AVG Antivirus.
U have both zone alarm and AVG?
Yes. I love AVG because since I first got it, it had detected and kept out several Trojan programs, and Zone Alarm has also been really good about protecting my computer.
Windows live Messenger, Skype, WinAmp, AIM, and how the hell do I get the YouTube to MP3 converter?
How the hell do I get the you tube to mp3 converter? I don't think that's a program is it? Smiles.
My favorites are GoldWave, Total recorder, winamp 2.95 (the newer one just takes up more resources), and skype.

Hmmm! Let's see. JAWS 9.0 proffesional as the only two computers working in this house at this moment and time are our Windows Vista Toshiba notebooks, mine's an A100, so of course, I kind of need the latest installment of JAWS to run it. 2. Real Player, works all right with Vista though I'm constantly getting nasty little messages about cookies not being enabled when I open it up, but it doesn't seem to affect its performance, plus if you're always logged on listening to BBC radio online for example, real player's essential. BBC radio doesn't work without it. 3. Windows Media player. Good for most Wav, MP3, Mpeg files Etc Etc and of course, compatible with Windows Vista. 4. Mcafee security centre. All-round security, its own firewall, cleaning and defrag, complete system scan, a bit like SFC scan, but more user-friendly, you can schedule it to update, run system scans and clean up as well, every month, every week or every day, saving you the trouble of opening it and negociating your way round the somewhat visual menu, though FS has played a blinder with JAWS there so now I only have to highlight then right click on the applications I want to use.
5. Instant Messenger. Lifesaver if you need to keep in touch with friends, family, Etc Etc, all for free. 6. Internet Explorer Where would we all be without that, eh?
Jen.
my favorite programs are idaily diary, windows live messenger, klango, and skype. Idaily diary is a free diary program. You can get it at www.jaws-users.com

Is Miranda difficult? I checked it out a couple years ago, and it seemed way too techy, and I consider myself a pretty techy gal...smile!
Oops CCleaner as well!
No if anything miranda isn't that techy at all.
Agree. Miranda IM is aw'w'w'w''wwww'wwww'ww'w'w'w'w'w'w'w'w'w'w'some!
oh yeah. Klango is awesome too. i also like screamer Radio. for those who don't know what it is, it's a software program that lets you listen to internet radio stations. i know klango player does that too, but I like using screamer as well. I use klango to view forums and stuff.
My favorite programs are:
1. JAWS 9.0 or 10 when it comes out, as I need the latest version to run on windows vista.
2. Windows live messenger +.
Internet explorer, because obviously I wouldn't be able to come on here.
3. Winamp, better than windows media player.
4. Skype.
5. Any of the games I've got installed on here.
I've also got NVDA and Thunder screen readers on my laptop, just in case I need them.
Interesting that people would mention Mozilla thunder bird. I've had a look at it, and with the latest build of JAWS 9, as well as the JAWS 10 beta, not having much luck with it as far as reading emails, nad going through messages. JAWS just says multi select list box, and there's nothing there when I arrow around. I mainly use a Mac for the most part, but thought I'd check out the latest version of thunderbird when it was mentioned, but I'm having no luck with it. , ,Regarding that youtube to mp3 converter working on a mac, since it's a windows application, it wouldn't work on a mac. If you want to do something like that on a mac, your best option would be to use Audio Hijack pro, and hijack Safari while playing the youtube content in it. Unless they have a mac version of that converter? ? Which I don't think so.
How long did u wait before arrowing around in the list box? U have to wait for it to get the messages, it'll make a sound when done that.
I agree with post twenty-six. Mozilla thunderbird is pretty accessible with jaws. It's only drawback I think is that you can't read what you're writing. other than that, I like it. my other favorite program that I just installed last week is Miranda IM. It's pretty easy when you get used to it.
Leslie

Damn, I forgot Ccleaner. Used it only last weekend to get rid of a botched Itunes thanks to busted Quicktime 7.3. It'd completely buggered both itself and Itunes so I hadn't a hope of getting the fucking things off my lappy, so Ccleaner's joined my fairly lengthy list of faves too.
Jen.
A few more of my favorite programs on my computer are fire fox, system acess, and the system acess moble network.
JAWS 9 works fine with Windows vista. I have it here on my new computer. well, the computer itself is three weeks old, but what the hell ...
I'd waited a long time after hearing the new mail sound with Thunderbird. And no luck. THink I'm just going to stick with my Mac, and apple mail lol
GoodRaju, how do you like window blinds? I'd never heard of it until reading your post. I googled it and it sounds kind of cool. Is it user friendly? Works with the screen readers? Can I change the color of my desktop easily?
what is window blinds?
my favourite programs? let's see, windows and jaws. Um no, really. mozilla, irc, mushclient for mudding, winamp, msn and skype.
Window Blinds is a program that is used to create or change Desktop themes on your Computer. Pretty much it's like changing skins on your entire desktop into a unique theme. In terms of accessibility, it depends on what theme you are switching to. There are certain themes that use flash layers and such to change the appearance, so those kinds of themes won't work all that well with Screen Readers. I haven't had much of a problem with it.. Try it out and see if it works out for you, it's a nice one.

my internet browser or winamp can't pick. lmao
